To recycle your wrapping paper, make sure that it is actually recyclable. See these suggestions from Readers Digest:
Also make sure to rip the tape off your present and throw it away. Then you can recycle your paper on its own.There are some schools of thought that you don’t have to remove tape, but there’s always a caveat that some recycling places will not recycle with tape on paper. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
It also helps if it has a label like this on your wrapping paper.
